A brilliant stay, absolutely love this place. Has everything you would need from a home from home.
The swimming pool & games room are amazing, and a lot of thought has gone into providing everything for the kids of all ages. Thank you.

Me (Olivia), Oscar and Arnas have come for a second time, Rasa and Drama (my dog) were now able to come. Thank you so much Annette & Jason for being such kind and generous hosts. We felt very much at home here and we liked playing pool/snooker a lot. I remembered a lot of the house and how much I enjoyed my stay last time.
Fleur hasn’t changed and she is still as cute as ever!
I loved the swimming pool, especially at night with the lights on !
There were some rainy days, but we were lucky with some sunshine. The gym was upgraded since our last stay, so it was very cool.
We all enjoyed the grapes and tomatoes that are grown here too.
We had no regrets returning and think the newbies – Rasa and Drama – would like to come again! I hope we can come again one day but for longer because this place is so nice and I don’t want this holiday to end.

A wonderful week at Maison Lairoux.
We loved the waves at La Terrière - perfect for body boarding & easy parking.
Fantastic days-it at Puy du Fou & visiting the Ile de Ré where we easily hired bikes & used the map they gave us to tour around the island.
Loads of baguette picnics - highly recommend the baguette machine in the village - surprisingly good! Also the best boulangerie - L'Escale Gourmande - near Luçon.
Of course plenty of hours spent in the pool, the games room and on the terrace.

We had an amazing time at L’Ecurie Holiday Cottage. The highlight of this holiday was definitely the nighttime swim on the last night. Jason kindly turned on the lights for us. It was magical.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful location with the pool being the highlight.
The house was well stocked, catering for every eventuality, and Annette & Jason were full of knowledge and made us feel at home.
Koa Surf School, Atlantic Wake Park and O’Gliss water park were our top hits on holiday. Thank you, Annette & Jason,
During record breaking high temperatures we had another great (and very, very hot) holiday at Maison Lairoux. We took full advantage of the lovely pool area.
Zoe enjoyed a ride out at Marais du Plessis stables.
As well as several lovely sunsets here, we also visited La Tranche sur Mer for dinner followed by a sunset walk on the beach.
Thanks to Annette & Jason for, again, being great hosts & for this lovely gîte.
We plan on returning.
Had another fab time here even in the extreme heat and the sheep next door paying a visit in the wee hours of our last night.
Had a lovely last morning 6:30am swim.
A lovely relaxing holiday and Jason K even took Jason P to a new bar which he will be frequenting next year.
Our 7th stay in L’Ecurie, which pretty much says it all. Everything we need in the gîte plus fantastic setting from the outside table to watch the wildlife and the sunsets.
We enjoyed re-visiting the Pointe D’Arcay and the Pointe d’Aiguillon for the birds and butterflies, plus markets in Luçon and Fontenay-le-Comte.
Annette and Jason – you are so welcoming and great hosts. We thank you again for a wonderful holiday. A bientôt xx.
Another wonderful week in the Vendée.
Visited some old favourites and a few new places. The highlight was Vouvant and would highly recommend L’Auberge de Maître Pannetier.
As always, thank you for your fantastic hospitality.
We go home rested, relaxed & ready to come back!!
