Maison Lairoux Holiday Cottages in the Vendée, France
Le Vieux Café and L’Ecurie Holiday Cottages are located in the centre of the small village of Lairoux in the Vendée, only a 15minute drive from the sandy beach at La Faute sur Mer.
When we first bought the holiday homes back in 2006 we carried out lots of renovations and re-decorating to ensure that they both became very comfortable and well equipped family friendly holiday homes. Since then, every winter, we have completed many more projects to improve the houses and garden area.
The holiday homes are set on either side of a large gravel courtyard, with lots of parking in between. The views from the courtyard are stunning - with a wide panoramic view of the Wetlands Valley (Marais) with herds of cows and horses grazing in the Spring & Summer, and then a vast flood plain in the winter.
In the garden you will find our 12m by 7m heated swimming pool, along with a boules court, games room, gym and plenty of space to play or relax.
